2014 Friedeman, Lancel Creek, Pinot Noir
Ripe plum and dark chocolate on the nose; a round palate of caramelized red fruits with enough acidity to balance the mouthfeel.
Sourced from Lancel Creek Vineyard: a single, ultra-premium vineyard, on the very Western edge of the Russian River Valley.
Harvested at an average 24.9 brix. Cold soaked four days, with native fermentation, and no rackings prior to bottling. Aged for 12 months in 67% new Francois Freres and Sirugue barrels. Clones: Pommard and 777
