2014 Dichotomy Pinot Noir
Brooding nose of dark cherries and bramble fruit belie the bright red cheery and zest acidity on the palate.
70% from the Ross Ridge Vineyard, in the middle reach of the Russian River Valley, and the remainder from the cooler and coastal Lancel Creek Vineyard.
4-5 day cold soak, followed by native and inoculated fermentations with 3 punch-downs daily. Aged for 11 months in ~25% new French oak, from Francois Freres and Damy. Racked only once prior to bottling.
